One thing that I really hated about Washington State was the fact that it seemed to be rainy or gloomy almost all of the time.
Once we moved to Indiana, I thought those days were over. But, we seem to be having a Summer storm here every few days. Thunder, rain, lightning, all very beautiful and mystifying, but still, did I leave a rainy place just to go to another rainy place? It’s just a thought that has crossed my mind.
The good thing about the West Coast is that there isn’t a lot of humidity. Once we reached here (Indiana), we could tell the vast difference. Although the thermometer may say 83 degrees or something around there, the humidity makes it feel much hotter and stickier. I had forgotten how sticky the East Coast could be.
Either way, every region has it’s positive and negetive attributes, that we can all agree upon. But, the thing that will probably make the biggest difference is our jobs. If my husband isn’t able to find a job around here and the income doesn’t restart flooding in soon, then we’re up a creek without a paddle (we left this passage PG13 for our wide variety of viewers).
Many things may change with us over the coming weeks, but you’ll just have to sit back and wait while we figure out a valid plan to get our lives back on track!
